Toil & trouble
Still using Aseprite, I decided to do some more complicated character illustrations.
These are based off of archetypes you might find in an adventure-rpg group: rogue, warrior, cleric.
I also decided to try my hand at putting together an “idle” animation, basd on a caster / mage character concept.
A heck’in good boy

Inspired by my dogs, I worked a bit on a run cycle based off the “stilted” stiff-legged run that Chow Chow dogs have.
